Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Reablement team Location : Barking and Dagenham Rate : £30 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council. They are looking for a new member to join their Reablement Team, offering a pay rate of £30 per hour. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will work within the context of the Care Act 2014, providing person-centred Social Work intervention, strength-based work, and a preventive approach that enables service users and carers to optimize and maintain their independence and wellbeing. You will collaborate with clients to produce a reablement plan, helping them identify and achieve their goals related to various social care tasks such as washing and dressing, showering, meal preparation, and engaging in community activities. Additionally, you will be capable of joint working with therapists and have knowledge of assistive technology.
