Maintenance Technician, Wimborne, GBP27,000pa
Purpose
As a Maintenance Technician within the Facilities Management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the continued efficient and safe running of the site, overseeing planned preventative maintenance schedules, improvement projects, and reactive repairs to electrical and mechanical systems around the site.
To be considered for the position, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will benefit from:

Your Responsibilities:
* Implement a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule around the site.
* Be responsible for maintenance work, ranging from changing lightbulbs, painting and decorating, general repairs, testing alarms, and more.
* Assist with the installation of electrical systems including wiring, sockets, lighting, flow boxes, and more.
* Work closely with external contractors, escorting them when on site in security-controlled areas.
* Assist the IT team with the installation of new equipment and rearranging of office areas and storage rooms.
* Oversee other general maintenance of electro-mechanical systems.
The successful Maintenance Technician will:
* Have previous experience using hand and power tools, preferably from within a maintenance role.
* Be able to maintain accurate PPMs and service records.
* Be adept with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Completion of a relevant Engineering Qualification (e.g., NVQ / HND).
