CNC Miller/Programmer
Perm Role, £16-£18.50p/hr DOE, 38hrs per week, Mon-Fri

I am looking for an experienced CNC Miller, who can program from scratch, to work for one of my clients, a Precision Engineering and Manufacturing firm based near to Halifax.
Ideally, you will be Apprentice Trained, however, if you are a time served Engineer, then please apply for this role too. Key requirements for the role include:
-Must be able to program CNC Milling Machines unaided from Technical Drawings
-Experience of programming up to 4-axis Machining Centres
-Knowledge of Heidenhain controls is essential to this role
-Experience of machining a wide range of metals and plastic would be beneficial
-Knowledge of machining 1 off pieces up to medium size batches
Day to day duties of this role include:
-Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components on time
-Load machines with Vices/Fixtures
-Loading the tooling with correct offsets
-Uploading programs
-Self inspecting all manufactured components
-Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards
Your working week will be Monday to Thursday from 7am to 3.30pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday. The starting salary for the role is £31,616 pa (£16p/hr) and can rise up to £36,556 pa (£18.50p/hr) with any Overtime worked paid at time + ½.
