Public Health Wales has the remit to provide strategic leadership for the development of immunisation services across Wales; both in primary and secondary care and in addition to those non NHS organisations who have a need for immunisation advice and guidance. An opportunity has arisen to join our existing team and help shape the future. The Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme (VPDP) in Public Health Wales is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the successful Vaccine Preventable Disease Programme (VPDP). It is a national role and will be key in supporting immunisation programmes in Wales. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with immunisation expertise, and experience in public health and service development. The post involves contributing to the delivery of public health immunisation projects and interventions at an all Wales level using public health knowledge and skills. Main duties of the job Applicants must be capable of responding to service changes and needs and have the ability to think logically and innovatively. Excellent IT skills are required and the need to be adaptable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
