In this role, you'll lead a Men’s Behaviour Change program that aligns with the No to Violence (NTV) and Department of Justice NSW Standards, as well as the National Plan to address domestic violence. The program is for male clients who are ready to take responsibility for their actions and are committed to changing their behaviour. Plan and facilitate sessions within an integrated multidisciplinary framework. Provide individual assessment, pre-group interviews, and co-facilitation of MBCP group work interventions. Conduct and document risk assessments for program participants. Encourage accountability for men who continue to use violence and actively work to address safety concerns. Maintain positive relationships with facilitators, stakeholders, and external agencies, ensuring collaborative efforts for safety. Participate in program evaluation, reporting, record keeping, and the continuous quality improvement process. Essential Criteria Experience in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related field. Professional experience working in the domestic and family violence sector. Willingness to obtain the ECAV Graduate Certificate in Men’s Behaviour Change Individual and Group Work Interventions. Demonstrated skills and experience in facilitating programs.
