Sefton Council are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their MASH screening Service. Within this role you will be responsible for receiving and screening calls, and then deciding whether to escalate/de-escalate to the relevant teams.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:
* Answering and screening calls, collect and collate relevant information
* Liasing with other professionals such as schools/police etc
* Record, interpret and present Social Care information
* Participate in the MASH information sharing to inform management of the case and where appropriate be able to present challenge.
* Escalate evidence of inappropriate, referrals to the duty service
* Making professional judgement based on information
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
