Process appointment requests for today/future appointments from patients by telephone via Accurx Processing repeat prescription request in accordance with practice guidelines Dealing with enquiries, making new and follow-up appointments and generally advising patients on non-clinical matters Communicating with Pharmacies and other outside agencies Liaising with Drs/Nurses were necessary Amend and cancel patient appointments in line with practice appointments procedures Answering telephone calls, taking messages, ensuring all are actioned / redirected / documented Responding to requests or queries for support as they arise in an appropriate and timely manner Photocopying Tasks, Answer desk /phone Emails - action/distribute Raise blood forms Be able to cover all reception positions as necessary Have working knowledge of telephone system Team work
