In this role, you will support the development and operation of a world-class, innovative, large-scale mass manufacturing plant.
Mission and Role Details:
A position is now available for a Quality Technician, to support the Quality Department to work as part of our QA shift teams.
Outline and Responsibilities:
* Fully proficient with IATF16949:2016
* Deep dive to Root Cause using 8D and Quality tools
* Understanding of PFMEA and Control plans
* Perform product and process audits (internal)
* Generate technical and management reports
* Carry out inspections in line with relevant work instructions
* Validation activity
* XRAY Analysis
* Containment activities
Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
* Ability to analyse, interpret and present data to make fact-based decisions
* Experience of IATF16949
* Experience/understanding of IATF/TS core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills – reporting throughout the business at all levels and with all functions will be required
* Knowledge of APIS software (Desirable)
* Excellent PC Skills including MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
* Ability to work shifts
* 8D Investigation lead
* Calibration & MSA understanding (Desirable)
* Containment of suspect parts
* Full driving license
