Job Title: (Nights) Senior Care Assistant
Location: Kingswinford
Salary: GBP13.68 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week

We are now looking for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with residents' care plans and supervising the caring team.
2. Providing the highest level of personal care and attention, following individual care plans with empathy and warmth.
3. Acting as a care plan coordinator for a named group of residents.
4. Monitoring residents' physical and mental well-being, reporting any changes promptly.
5. Administering medication as prescribed and maintaining accurate records.
6. Complying with statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, and the Health & Social Care Act.
7. Respecting and maintaining confidentiality of residents' personal information.
8. Contributing to team meetings, training, and ensuring a supportive working environment.
9. Upholding compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and Safeguarding.
10. Liaising with other care professionals and assisting residents in leisure activities.
11. Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment.
12. Assisting with meal service and providing support to residents as needed.
Requirements:
1. Have a genuine passion for providing care and support to vulnerable individuals.
2. Hold NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and are willing to work towards NVQ level 3.
3. Be patient, understanding, and committed to the well-being of our residents.
4. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Be reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.
6. Embrace diversity and inclusivity in their work.
The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check, reference checks and a six month probation period. It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group (i.e. adults at risk, children, or both).
