My client, a leading Manufacturer in Greater Manchester is searching for an experienced Planning Manager. This role offers high levels of autonomy, measurable targets with a clear bonus structure, and is critical to the business's success.
Role Description
Lead a team of 3 production planners and a material buyer. Providing influence/buyers to stakeholders in the process
Find solutions to minimise cost while ensuring OTIF is improved
Contribute to sales, operations and capacity strategy
Have a clear understanding of the production process from raw materials to finished goods
Work with teams such as sales, commercial to spot trends and any risks
Promote continuous improvement across the businessSkills and Qualifications
Experience within a planning role in manufacturing
Strong people skills, both people and process management
Knowledge of manufacturing processes from raw materials and to finished goods
Strong understanding of ERP systems, computer literateCompany Information
