Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Tilbury Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 per hour Job Duties: Provide academic support and guidance to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting. Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student. Deliver tailored lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with SEN coordinators, teachers, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the UK education system and curriculum Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Training in specific SEN interventions and techniques Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in an outreach capacity, visiting students in their learning environments Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external agencies All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
