We're seeking someone to join our team as a Director in Divisional Management to manage and track strategic initiatives and provide insightful analysis to drive senior decision making.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Operations Business Management, which is responsible for performing business management functions. We do this by managing headcount, financials, people processes, executive communications, and strategic support.

Global Operations COO Support Team manages workforce strategy and governance across Operations, with a focus on transparency, reporting and analysis. The primary functions of the team include providing management reporting to Operations senior leadership, ensuring alignment with firmwide governance, management of resource plans and reporting of headcount trajectory against targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Initiative Management and Analysis:
Manage and track strategic initiatives across Operations, providing insightful and data driven analysis to drive senior management decision-making. Assess progress against key objectives including identifying trends, risks and achievements.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Alignment:
Collaborate closely with business management community, building strong partnerships across departments to align on deliverables and outputs, ultimately ensuring proper representation of progress against targets.
3. Operations-wide Deliverables:
Drive production and timely completion of key Operations-wide deliverables including coordination across various data owners and stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency and accuracy.
4. Senior Management Review Materials:
Support the creation and preparation of monthly and quarterly senior management review materials, providing essential data and insights including key performance metrics and progress against strategic goals.

Skills that will help you in the role:

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong working knowledge of advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint.
5. Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath or similar tools knowledge is beneficial.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 85,000 and 130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
