Job Description
Keltbray Energy are looking for a Planning and Project Control Manager to support with the Distribution OHL projects working from our office in Bathgate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
1. Monitor and manage the volumes, status and time scales of all works orders.
2. Manage, monitor, create and return all Target Pricing.
3. Combine and manage a high-level program for all client district programs.
4. Ensure works are programmed efficiently to meet or exceed budgeted values.
5. Manage and monitor change management and demonstrate within the programs the impact of the change relating to time, costs and specifications.
6. Ensure all Early Warnings (EWN) and Compensation Events (CE’s) are submitted in line with contractual timelines and procedures.
7. Be commercially aware and ensure additional costs are claimed from the client.
8. Provide weekly updates of work received, project progress and change management.
9. Conduct any reasonable task instructed by your line manager and portray a positive attitude.
10. Promote Business Development in all areas of contacts.
11. Ensure compliance with Keltbray Health & Safety Policy, Procedures and guidance notes.
12. Ensure all client Works Orders are contractually compliant (NEC3) and are acceptable or not on receipt.
13. Populate and return all NEC contract Data Part 2 and supporting documents.
Skills, experience and qualifications:
1. Proficiency in MS Project and Oracle Primavera P6.
2. Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with Company Policies/Procedures and BMS processes.
3. Prepare level 3 plans as per the WBS and produce summary level 1 views for reporting/communications.
4. Carry out critical path analysis and develop milestone tracking systems.
5. Create planning updates and management templates to measure, monitor and report progress.
6. Develop planning scenarios for options under consideration.
7. Conduct analysis on mitigation measures and recovery planning and provide input to risk evaluation/analysis exercises.
