The Opportunity
Would you like to join a practice located in the beautiful seaside town of Weymouth? Here at Medivet Weymouth, you can! With views of the sea and the Jurassic coast, this makes for an ideal location for someone looking to work on the beautiful sunny south coast.
We pride ourselves on our spacious practice, boasting 3 consult rooms, a separate dispensary, a lab integrated into one of our consult rooms, a separate theatre, a big prep area, a dental table, an X-ray room, a separate cattery, a separate kennel area with a large walk-in kennel, communal spaces, an office, storage room, and heated controlled rooms perfect for summer and winter. We also have a beautiful garden to sit in during the summer.
At our Weymouth practice, we have a strong bond with our clients, knowing their pets’ names as well as theirs. Our clinic is very homely, resulting in a close-knit team who enjoy working together and are excited to welcome another Vet.
We offer a friendly and caring team with amazing support from the nursing and front of house teams. The opportunity here is for a Vet to join us, working on a mix of complex cases, consults, and surgery.
We invest significantly in training and development, welcoming applications from both newly qualified and experienced Vets. You will be well supported, working with a Head RVN, 1 RVN, 2 SVNs, VCA, CCA, and alongside two other Vets – one being an experienced Branch Partner. You will have the chance to develop your own client base, consulting and operating, with the ability to send cases requiring additional care to our Dorchester 24hr hospital.
As a Vet, your skills, clinical expertise, and passion for animal welfare will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of your practice, your team, and yourself.
