About the role
Provides a great service to our Stores, ensuring customers have great availability and standards of products by delivering all Safety First Training, New Starter Inductions and all generic Training
You will be responsible for
Delivers for my team and my department:
* Delivering all generic Safety related training throughout the Distribution Centre Team, including Tesco and all 3rd party colleagues.
* Maintaining a record of all Safety training planned and completed.
* Planning all generic Safety related training sessions with People & Safety Manager.
* Delivering using Tesco Academy approved training solutions.
* Planning into Distribution Centre Training Plan additional refresher safety training as required by Team Managers.
* Getting behind and involved in safety campaigns.
* Training all: Fire Wardens, Fire Evacuation Chair users, Security Routines and Food Hygiene.
* Attending all planned fire/ammonia evacuations and review for learning’s with management team.
* Attending Health & Safety Meetings, providing updates on planned and completed training for previous month.
* Providing expertise during Health & Safety Meeting on safety training solutions.
* Coordinating and delivering all Warm Welcome to Tesco Distribution Inductions including 3rd party providers.
* Planning all refresher training for colleagues returning from prolonged absence.
* Maintaining the Health & Safety notice board and statutory notices.
* Following our Business Code of Conduct, Data Protection Law and always acting with integrity/due diligence.
