With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony Application Closing Date: 11 April, 2025 Interview Week Date: 14 April, 2025 Your Role Pride in London is seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Co-Team Lead, alongside another Leicester Square Talent Co-Lead, to oversee the programming and management of the Leicester Square Stage for Pride in London 2025. This individual will play a pivotal role in curating an engaging lineup of performers, ensuring smooth event execution, and celebrating the diversity and creativity of the LGBTQ community. Commitment Required Duration : You should be able to dedicate three hours a week to Pride in London from the commencement of the position, through monthly in-person meetings (bimonthly from May) and weekly remote calls with the Talent Team. You should be available on site for the event date unless otherwise agreed in advance with the Head of Talent. On The Day Location: Leicester Square Stage Your Responsibilities Talent Management: Identify, recruit, and build strong relationships with artists, musicians, and other entertainers aligned with Pride's mission and values. Event Programming: Curate a diverse and inclusive lineup for the Leicester Square Stage, showcasing emerging and established LGBTQ talent. Contract Negotiation: Manage negotiations with talent representatives to secure favorable terms for performances. Ensure all relevant materials are received, including signed contracts, invoices, and artists' assets. Logistics Coordination: Oversee all aspects of talent logistics, including scheduling, and assist the Stages Team in advancing. Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets for booking talent Promotion Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the stage lineup through social media and other channels. Industry Research: Stay informed about current entertainment trends to identify emerging talent and opportunities for future events. What You'll Bring To The Role Proven experience in talent booking or entertainment management. Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with contract management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of LGBTQ culture and commitment to promoting inclusivity through entertainment. Familiarity with event production processes is a plus. Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle tight deadlines. Experience in Event Management: London Pride is a large scale, multi site event, giving you to opportunity to gain or build up on previous event management experience. Building skills in organisation, communication, co-ordination and problem solving across the process. Networking Opportunities: Volunteers often get the chance to work alongside and interact with key figures and groups within the LGBTQ community aswell as hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life.
