Salary: HC6 £30, - £33, (Graduate Surveyor) - HC9 £42, - £46, (Qualified Surveyor)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Working on The Highland Council’s property portfolio - which includes the Operational estate, the Investment portfolio and Common Good property – the post holder will provide high quality and cost effective property advice, entailing a wide range of Estates functions including, property valuations, rent reviews, acquisitions, disposals and negotiations in respect of the Council's portfolios.
The role would suit a MRICS qualified surveyor with previous commercial property/Estates experience or a graduate surveyor working towards RICS membership.

Requirements
Experience of working as a qualified Chartered Surveyor and undertaking commercial transactions including disposal, acquisition, rent reviews and management of property assets.
Experience of carrying out Red Book valuations.
For graduate position, a relevant degree or relevant experience working in the property industry.
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, or working towards RICS membership
