The Role:
In the classroom, a Teaching Assistant (TA) fulfils a crucial supporting function, collaborating with educators to improve the student learning journey. Their main duty involves aiding in the daily running of the classroom and delivering extra assistance to teachers and students. TAs support in managing the classroom, getting materials ready, and occasionally guiding small groups or individual students to strengthen learning goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting Teachers: Assist with lesson preparation, classroom setup, and resource management.
* Student Assistance: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who may need extra help, such as those with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
* Classroom Management: Help manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring students stay focused on tasks.
* Supervision: Oversee students during breaks, lunchtime, and other activities, ensuring safety and order.

Requirements:
* GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Equivalent
* Previous experience working within a school (Not required but preferred)
* Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude
* A passion for education and a genuine desire to support student learning
* Can drive or commute via public transport
