Job Details: Good Housing impacts on many aspects of our daily lives. We need you to help us meet our aim to provide everyone with access to good quality, affordable decent housing that meets their needs and aspirations. As a Housing Management Officer, you will form part of an Area Housing Team that delivers improved services. You will be responsible for a specific neighbourhood, ensuring high quality, well-run estates through the assessment of needs, followed by the development of solutions. You will deliver high quality landlord services to build stable communities by sustaining tenancies and engaging with customers and partners to make required improvements.
The Person: If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we'd like to hear from you. We are looking for an individual who has knowledge of the Scottish Secure and Short Scottish Secure Tenancies and experience of working with a range of supports available to tenants. You will have experience of partnership working when managing tenancies and will be committed to assisting tenants to sustain their tenancy, while also taking action against breaches of tenancy. Good time management, communication, organisational skills, and IT skills are required. You will be educated to SCQF level 5 or equivalent and may need to undertake the SVQ4 in Housing and Homepoint 2 qualifications.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
