The Recruitment Group is looking for an HSE Coordinator based in Shepshed. Our client is a fast-growing company and looking for a dedicated person to fill the HSE Coordinator role. Please note that this is a temp-to-perm role. If you are looking to pursue a career in the HSQE field then please read on.
Pay for the HSE Coordinator Role - temp to perm: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday – 7am to 5pm (1 hour unpaid break)
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements of the Remet company by supporting the Operations Manager in providing a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of the HSE Management System to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and continuous improvement.
3. Assist in conducting HSE risk assessments and developing control measures to minimise risks.
4. Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the HSQE Management System and identify areas for improvement.
5. Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and non-conformance and develop corrective and preventive actions.
6. Conduct induction training for employees and contractors.
7. Liaise with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers on HSE matters where required.
8. Assist the Operations Manager in day-to-day administration activities.
9. Liaise with the Group HSQE Advisor regarding implementation.
10. Where required, assist in related cover for holidays, sickness, and training.
11. Assist with process, production, and energy efficiency-related projects.
12. Adhering to the company’s Health and Safety Policy.
13. Adhering to the company’s Environmental requirements.
14. Follow instructions given by the management and any other tasks reasonably required by the company.
About you:
1. Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook).
2. Good numeracy skills.

4. Excellent communicator and team player.
5. Must be flexible.
6. Attention to detail is a must.
7. Efficient organisational skills.
8. Be able to prioritise.
9. IOSH Managing Safety is desirable.
10. NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable.
