The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is seeking an experienced carpenter for 1st and 2nd fix work to join our well-established construction team.
The estate team ensures that our facilities provide an exceptional environment for our patients and staff. The role reports directly to the Head of Construction.
About us:
The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital was established in Aylesbury in 1832 and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region. The ownership of the hospital was transferred to our new management team in January 2023. By joining our existing portfolio, the hospital is now a family-owned business and provides clinical care to both private, insured, and NHS patients, with a strong ethos on caring for our staff.
The clinical outcomes of the hospital are of the highest standards. The latest CQC report rated our hospital standards as good across all parameters. Extensive rejuvenation of the estate and updating of the clinical facilities has already started. Phase one of the projects included refurbishment of the outpatient area and reception. Phase 2 included construction and setup of a comprehensive radiology service including CT. We are recruiting for phase 3, which involves construction of operating theatre and endoscopy suites.
The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is managed and run by clinicians. All colleagues are encouraged to feel empowered and to have an active voice on the management of their services. Our organisation has strong IT, operational, clinical governance, and accountancy support.
