Job Purpose
As an essential interface between UESTC and the University of Glasgow and its key partners in the Chinese higher education sector, the postholder will be responsible for providing a first-class administrative service to students, staff, stakeholders, and external enquirers. The role involves supporting the delivery of joint undergraduate and master's programmes, providing operational support to Programme Directors and lecturers, and ensuring smooth administrative processes at Glasgow College Hainan, UESTC, located at Li'an International Education Innovation Pilot Zone Binhai Campus, Lingshui, Hainan, China.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. General Enquiries: Act as liaison for students, UESTC staff, and Hainan Campus Bureau regarding university matters. Liaise with administrative and academic staff at the University of Glasgow.
2. Administration of Undergraduate/Master Programmes: Track student progress, maintain student records, assist with timetabling, exam preparation, marking coordination, and data analysis for assessment and accreditation purposes. Support Programme Directors and lecturers, and provide day-to-day local support during teaching weeks.
3. College Administration Support: Ensure accuracy of university information, support recruitment, induction, and graduation events, assist with web pages and handbooks, manage GTA recruitment and logistics, maintain records for visiting staff, and organize meetings and statistical reporting.
4. Ad Hoc: Perform additional duties such as transcript preparation and project monitoring as assigned.
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Knowledge/Qualifications
High School graduation or equivalent with 3-4 years relevant experience; knowledge of Chinese and UK Higher Education procedures.

Experience
Relevant administrative experience, experience in student record management, and supporting academic communities preferred.
Terms & Conditions
Employment by FESCO Sanya, based at Glasgow College Hainan, with a salary range of RMB 96,188 – 123,893 (13 months). Opportunities for travel to Glasgow may be required. Full-time, open-ended position.
