Credit Analyst City of London Permanent £60,000 cer Financial are working alongside a well-structured international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Credit Analyst to work with them on a permanent basis. The Responsibilities of a Credit Analyst Will Include: Review credit applications received from branches / relationship managers or through intermediaries / brokers for buy-to-let and commercial real estate loans. Experience in residential properties is a plus. Conduct objective assessment according to the banks policy and mandate. Meet KPIs related to review of credit requests, reporting and other performance standards. Revert to the RM with queries on the credit application within specified turnaround time. Ensure all major queries are resolved prior to the case being submitted to the Head of Credit Approval. Highlighting any shortfall to the credit process chain. Documentation of proposal related information to be in conformity with requirements as set out internally. Check monthly/quarterly portfolio review reports. Preparation of various reports sanctioning committees and annual reviews. Monitoring and performance review of existing portfolio. Maintain electronic filing of all credit requests and diarising for the receipt of information from the branches. To remain up to date with the changes in banks business profile, internal systems and processes and regulatory requirements. Undertake projects and assignments from time to time as directed by the Head of Credit Approval. Liaison with Credit Administration, ACPM, Finance, Compliance & Audit for processes relating to Credit Approval function. The Successful Credit Analyst Will Have: Strong academic and professional qualification background 3 years of commercial risk management experience with direct exposure to decision making and sanctioning procedures Direct exposure gained from tenure spent in Relationship Management Team Knowledge of the UK economy, BTL and commercial real estate market, related regulatory and legal environment and possible challenges. Sound understanding of the SME lending & Trade Finance within the UK context. Knowledge of Emerging Markets SMEs, Business models, market trends and industry trends is preferred. Workout knowledge for problematic corporate accounts is desirable. ADZN1_UKTJ
