We have the pleasure of confirming a brand new role - H&S Coordinator for our award-winning family food production business based in Nottingham (East, outskirts).
The role is being offered on a part-time permanent basis and expected hours are 16-20hrs per week, which are completely flexible both in days and times. This position is ideal for working parents, semi-retired individuals, or anyone seeking part-time work.
Salary is expected to fall between £28-£30k pro rata. Benefits include 20 days holiday pro rata, pension, discretionary annual bonus, and further professional development.
In the role of H&S Coordinator, you will work towards bringing the H&S management in-house as it is currently managed externally. You will be passionate about all things H&S and enjoy working for an SME that offers security, a close-knit team, artisan products, and a desire to produce the best they possibly can.
Responsibilities
1. H&S accountability for 2 sites (within 5 mins of each other)
2. Risk Assessments
3. Certification compliance
4. Staff training and record keeping
5. Coordinating H&S statistics for the company and compiling a monthly report for H&S Management Meetings
6. Near miss reporting and championing
7. Promote a positive H&S culture throughout the business at all levels
Requirements
1. IOSH qualified
2. Experienced in writing and executing risk assessments, SOPs
3. H&S recording systems
