Within our fast-growing Business Services and Outsourcing department, we have an exciting new role for someone who is AAT Level 4 qualified or QBE to join our local client’s team. Day to day you'll be working with a huge variety of clients, from sole traders to partnerships and small Limited Companies, taking care of their compliance needs. You'll have access to a large entrepreneurial client base in the Midlands, spread across every sector, making a genuine impact on their success. We will work with you to ensure your skillset is maximised and added to. Our team has grown significantly over the last year, and we have a huge variety of exciting client opportunities we can offer you to develop your skill set and expertise. You’ll get involved with a variety of assignments. As you develop, there also will be bucketloads of opportunities for you to get stuck into some of our other value-add projects too. Proven experience working in a smaller, local practice AAT Level 4 qualification or be QBE Well-rounded small practice experience – sole trader accounts, FRS 102 s1A accounts, management accounts, VAT returns. Tax knowledge is preferable, but not essential Experience with accounting software packages (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc.) Be passionate about client experience, constantly looking for ways to add more value to our clients Umpf A genuine passion and drive for "getting stuff done", someone who takes ownership of their workload and has great communication skills. Have a hunger for continuous improvement and a curiosity for finding the best way of doing things Ability to spot a needle in a haystack (not literally… but you catch our drift) A want to stretch yourself and go above and beyond the norm Have “play all in” team spirit to support the wider department We’re straight-talking and put people and relationships before products and services.
