About the Role We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our team, you will be responsible for analysing business needs, defining requirements, and translating them into product features and enhancements. You will work closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of products that align with our strategic goals. By leveraging your expertise in process optimisation, data analysis, and technical understanding, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency, usability, and impact of our solutions. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Requirements Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and customers to elicit, analyse, and document detailed business requirements, user stories, and product specifications. Process Mapping & Optimisation : Analyse current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and product effectiveness. Data Analysis : Leverage data and analytics tools to generate insights on product performance, user behaviour, and business impact. Cross-functional Collaboration : Act as a bridge between product, design and development teams, ensuring that business requirements are fully understood and properly implemented. Documentation : Create and maintain clear and concise documentation including business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and wireframes. Technical & Data Support: Assist in defining how business and data requirements fit into the wider business and technical infrastructure and solutions of ECA. Post-launch Analysis : Monitor product performance post-launch, gather feedback, and recommend continuous improvements based on data and user insights. Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a product development or technology environment. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience being part of agile teams. Skills: Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems, interpret data, and propose solutions. Technical Understanding : Familiarity with software development processes (Agile/Scrum methodologies) and experience working closely with development teams. Basic understanding of databases, APIs, and product architecture is a plus. Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. T ools : Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and other product management software. Attention to Detail : Highly organized with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
