As a Radio Communications Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient communication. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot radio communication systems, collaborating with teams to find innovative solutions to complex challenges. Responsibilities: System Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement radio communication systems based on business needs. Collaborate with different teams to integrate radio communication solutions into larger systems. Radio Frequency (RF) Planning and Optimisation: Conduct RF site surveys to determine the placement of communication equipment. Perform spectrum analysis and optimise frequency allocation to minimise interference and ensure efficient communication. Network Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain radio communication networks, including base stations & antennas Monitor network performance, conduct regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability. Testing and Evaluation: Conduct testing and evaluation of radio communication equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Develop test plans and procedures for new systems or system upgrades. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, network diagrams, and configuration records. Provide training and documentation for end-users and support teams. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to safeguard radio communication systems against unauthorised access. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints. Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
