Brakes, a Sysco company are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Transformation Project team on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Project Manager you will ensure the successful delivery of Sysco GB’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Transformation Project, a critical initiative supporting our modernisation strategy and ambitious growth objectives.
This role is pivotal in setting up the project team for success, delivering business requirements, and embedding change across multiple go-lives. The role will bring project expertise to ensure delivery, change / cost control, and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.
Dimensions
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of the project scope outlined by the business functions.
* Impact: Cross-functional across Sysco GB business units and reporting line into European programme
* Team Structure: Matrix team leadership, comprising permanent and contract resources across workstreams
Key Accountabilities;
* Project Planning & Execution:
o Create, coordinate, and manage project plans for phased Dynamics 365 go-lives.
o Ensure scope delivery aligns with the business case, within budget and on schedule.
* Governance & Reporting:
o Maintain project artefacts, including charters, risk/issue logs, steering updates, and status reports.
o Facilitate governance forums and manage go/no-go decision gates with stakeholders.
* Resource & Stakeholder Management:
o Lead cross-functional workstreams, ensuring resource capacity and capability align with project needs.
o Establish strong relationships with Programme Managers, business sponsors, and technical leads.
* Change & Communication Planning:
o Collaborate with the Change & Comms Leads to execute a communication and change management plan to support adoption.
o Engage key stakeholders to provide project awareness and facilitate smooth transitions.
* Cutover & Go-Live Planning:
o Define and manage detailed cutover plans in collaboration with the Programme Cutover Lead to minimise risk.
o Ensure business readiness and minimal disruption during go-live phases.
* Risk & Issue Management:
o Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring minimal impact on delivery timelines and budgets. Escalating at Programme Level where appropriate.
You;
You will have proven experience delivering business change projects, ideally in ERP transformations using agile/waterfall methodologies. We are looking for someone who has experience working remotely and managing geographically dispersed teams. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a focus on business engagement is key to succeed in this role. It is desirable that you have Experience delivering Dynamics 365 implementations or similar ERP/CRM projects and knowledge of agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycles. You’ll have strong organisational skills, with the ability to break down complex tasks into clear, actionable steps. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project (or Smartsheet), PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is essential for this role.
