Berkshire Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Administrator to join their Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient team based at57-59 Bath Road, Reading. Thisisa25hour a weekroleand the specifics of this will be discussed atinterview.There is a possibility the role may change base to West Berkshire Community Hospital in future.
We are looking for candidates with excellent customer service skills who would enjoy working within a dynamic and friendly team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communications skills, beorganisedand flexible, beable to demonstrate their ability to work on their own as well as work in collaboration with others. They willbe responsible forthe management of patient referrals and appointments whilst creating an efficient and compassionate environment for ourpatient’s.
The role will involve both patient facing and data inputting aspects and is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their administrative skills.
• Take responsibility for digital referral management and new patient bookings
• Liaise with necessary services to support andassistpatients as needed, such as patient transport and interpreting services.
• Be the first point of contact for welcoming patients and visitors attending the physiotherapy outpatient department
• Collect data and statistics toassistmanagement in guiding the service direction.
• Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients,serviceand physiotherapists.
• upporting colleagues to deliver a high quality, effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person.
