W Talent are delighted to be supporting a number of businesses in the Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford area. One such client is looking for a Purchasing specialist to join their team, based in Halifax. This role supports day-to-day procurement, supplier management, and order fulfilment, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with purchasing operations, supplier identification & negotiations
* Raise and manage purchase orders, RFQs & supplier communications
* Maintain purchasing records and analyse MRP reports
* Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience of purchasing is essential
* Experience of a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
* Strong communication & organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
