Robert Half are working in partnership with a renowned, thriving business in Swindon to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their finance function on a full-time permanent basis. This is a exceptional role that be involved with management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering with various stakeholders. The salary is between £35,000 - £39,000 plus study support, bonus, hybrid working and other benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Financial Analyst role will consist of the following:
1. Producing budgets and forecasts for assigned business unit
2. Profit and loss analysis
3. Variance analysis
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Accruals and prepayments
6. Budget vs actuals
7. Business partnering with various stakeholders; dealing with queries and translating financial data into information.
Requirements
To be considered for the Financial Analyst role, you must ideally possess the following skills/experience:
8. Must ideally have management/month-end accounting experience; exposure to accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations.
9. Ideally an ACCA/CIMA/AAT studier
10. Inquisitive mindset
11. Hard work ethic
12. Strong communication skills
13. Confident user of Excel; pivot tables, lookups, sumifs
