NextWave is an award-winning Digital Acceleration Consultancy for Financial Services with a particular focus on rapidly driving business outcomes and modernising Financial Institutions through technology.
We are looking to hire exceptional people to be part of our exciting journey and bring excellence to our clients. You will ideally have experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Consultant with an Asset Manager, Consultancy Firm or Solutions Vendor in the Asset Management Sector.
Responsibilities
* Engage with senior stakeholders from Front Office, Operations and Technology to ensure buy-in, accountability and strategic alignment.
* Work with our clients to understand their business challenges and problems - undertaking requirements gathering, client interviewing, documentation of processes and process assessment, and effectively communicating these to various audiences.
* Work on a large, mission-critical client delivery integrating technology, data and processes from two firms into one harmonised unit.
* Design and propose potential solutions identifying various pros, cons and risks.
* Build and execute project plans, coordinate status, issues, and risks, and provide clarity to everyone involved regarding their responsibilities to deliver successful business outcomes effectively under an Agile framework.
* Construct and define test scenarios and test data to ensure requirements are thoroughly and accurately implemented.
* Implementation and post-go-live support to ensure the success of the developed solutions.
* Contribute to our internally built IP and propositions as we create a collection of best-in-class solutions.
* Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
* Actively get involved in the new consulting community.
Candidate Profile
* Demonstrable experience in Asset Management as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
* Experience of operating model design, systems selection and implementation, post-merger integration and digitalisation.
* Delivery of complex change involving systems such as Bloomberg AIM, BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River and ThinkFolio.
* Ability to deliver projects using Agile delivery methods.
* Ability to work effectively and dynamically on multiple projects.
* Robust technology, analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation.
* Excellent Stakeholder management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and evidenced ability to break problems down into logical steps.
* Organised and evidenced ability to co-ordinate and deliver complex outcomes.
* Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate status, problems and requirements.

Location:
You will be based in the NextWave London office, 100 Bishopsgate; however, travel may be required for client-based projects, and some projects will be located wholly at client office locations - usually in the City of London or Canary Wharf.
