About me
I am a 29-year-old, young woman living at home with my family. I am friendly and fun-loving but my behaviour can sometimes be challenging. I like to be kept entertained, love singing songs and dancing. I also like going out on trips to the beach, shops and occasionally swimming. I have no language but I am able to demonstrate my needs.
I have a team of support workers who help me live my life the way I want to and I now need a further support worker who can support me in all aspects of my personal care as well as keeping me safe.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide care and support to enable me to live at home
Provide support to go out and about and to access the community
Provide drinks and snacks
Personal care
Ensure safety
Operate television and DVD player
Sing along with television and DVD player
No training is required, just a willingness to interact and encourage me when necessary.

Hours, days and times of work: 20 hours per week Monday to Friday, shift times will be either 9am – 1pm or 2pm – 6pm. There is some flexibility around how the hours will be worked, to be discussed at interview.
Pay rate: £12.00 per hour
Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
