Here at Derian House Children’s Hospice, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Major Donors and Philanthropy Partnerships Manager to join our team based in Chorley. You will join us on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week (Part time hours will be considered, minimum of 30 hours). Flexible working pattern is required to work evenings & weekends when required. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £ 40,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Derian House care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people’s services we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings. About the Major Donors and Philanthropy Partnerships Manager role: We are looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Major Donors and Philanthropy Partnerships Manager who will develop and implement a new fundraising strategy for Derian House to inspire and support major donors, including corporates and wealthy individuals. You will be an exceptional and eloquent communicator, and a natural relationship builder, and will use these stills to input into the pipeline, manage and monitor performance against agreed budgets and deliver against the annual business plan for the charity. You will have a strong network of existing contacts to work with, and will be able to use your influence to ensure that opportunities to support the charity are put in front of the right people. You will also have excellent research skills to identify new relationships to focus on. You will work alongside a high-performing and supportive fundraising team ready for its next exciting growth phase.
