CNC Machinist (Miller)| Ayrshire | 37 hours per week | Up to £18 per hour PLUS a 33% shift premium for early/back shifts

We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist (Millers) to join our dynamic team at Prestwick Aerospace Park in Ayrshire.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday:
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 1pm
Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6am – 2pm, Friday, 6am – 11am
Back Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2pm – 10pm, Friday, 11am – 4pm
Early and Back shifts are rotating, following a training period on day shift

Are you the right person for the job?
Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK
Apprenticeship/HNC in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Time-served Miller with minimum 3 years CNC experience
Experience of programming and operating CNC Milling machines
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Knowledge of Fanuc programming language
Self-motivated with an eye for detail and effective communication skills
Ability to hit the ground running and enjoy working within a small skilled team
Customer Service experience is essential, along with excellent people skills
What will your role look like?
Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery to perform internal and external milling of components based on customer drawings
Operating manual milling machinery
Utilizing inspection equipment to ensure precise adherence to sizes, tolerances, and surface finishes
Playing a critical role in meeting customers' needs through meticulous work
