Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments Preparing and reconciling financial statements and reports Handling payroll processing and ensuring accurate HMRC submissions Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting and forecasting Liaising with external accountants for year-end processes and audits Ensuring VAT returns are filed on time and managing any other compliance-related tasks Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally in an owner managed / entrepeneurial led environment Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and payroll Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks AAT qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various teams Why Join Us?
