This position offers an opportunity to have a positive impact on Siemens Sudbury, ensuring the smooth transition of raw material and components from the warehouse onto production lines.
Job Responsibilities:
1. To supply multiple production lines with materials constantly throughout shift to keep them running to an optimum level to achieve targets set.
2. To assist with movement of finished goods to Despatch warehouse by moving finished goods pallets into Goods Inwards area.
3. Assisting with Warehouse inventory controls involving using hand-held RF scanner to move stock from Warehouse stock location to Production on ERP system.
4. To keep Material Replenishment area clean, tidy, and safe to always work in as per company 5s standards - Display good housekeeping methods.
5. Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Team Leader or Supervisor.
6. To ensure Material Replenishment trollies are kept topped up throughout shift.
7. Storing and rotating stock according to company procedures.
8. To complete all Safety and Quality training in a timely manner within the company requirements. Learn 4U and Enterprise systems.
9. Provide training to new starters when required.
10. Cross site training will be required to support the other manufacturing site.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience of working with an ERP system, preferably SAP and RF scanners.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of warehouse team.
4. Relevant experience within a warehouse environment.
5. Fork Truck license preferably counterbalance.
