Employment Type: Full-time, in person teaching position for the 2025 – 2026 school year.

Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage IEPs through the creating and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student with special needs.
* Monitor student progress through tracking and assessing student development, making necessary adjustments to keep them on the path to success.
* Responsible for managing challenging behaviors and implementing behavior support plans.
* Work closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and parents to build a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
* Advocate for students ensuring compliance with educational laws and advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
* Create a positive and engaging learning space where every student feels supported and can thrive.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
* Strong experience in creating, implementing, and managing individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Possesses a collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
* Passion for Special Education through patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
Preferred/Nice-to-have:
* Master’s degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
