Job Title: Production Administrator

Overview: An established engineering manufacturer is seeking a proactive and organized Production Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various administrative aspects of the production process, ensuring smooth operations across multiple functions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a good understanding of production workflows, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Orders & SAP Management: Process and manage production orders, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components. Utilize SAP for tracking stock levels, issuing part numbers, and managing purchase orders. Coordinate production schedules and ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
2. Documentation: Prepare and issue various production-related documentation, including work instructions, quality reports, and operational records. Ensure all required documents are accurate, complete, and stored appropriately.
3. Maintenance Certification & Training Management: Manage and maintain records of equipment maintenance certificates and schedules. Book and coordinate training sessions for staff as required.
4. Fleet Management & Transport Coordination: Oversee the management of the company’s fleet, ensuring that vehicles are properly maintained and operational. Coordinate logistics for haulage, transportation, and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service.
5. O&M Manuals: Assist in the preparation and issuance of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals for products and machinery.
6. Ad Hoc Duties: Provide general administrative support to the production team, assisting with any other tasks as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Experience with SAP or similar production management software.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of fleet management and logistics is a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
