In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a great opportunity to be a part of the ever-growing Maintenance department at our site in Wolverhampton, the EPMC. The department is responsible for maintaining site operations and developing the site infrastructure across the EPMC. The department covers a wide range of responsibilities from managing the provision of utility services and management of key service providers on site as well as the day-to-day maintenance and safe operation of the site and facilities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensuring availability and maximum uptime of the plant/equipment and spares to support the function of the manufacturing operations.
2. Ensure all key requirements of the business are achieved and surpassed.
3. Support in the management of central contracts for the day-to-day running of the EPMC, review of key metrics and provide guidance for opportunities for improvements.
4. Managing planned, predictive & preventive maintenance schedules, employing all relevant techniques to ensure maximum availability of plant facilities equipment. Ongoing development of the facilities PM’s and updating into SAP.
5. Identification & sourcing of cost-effective machinery/spares and services.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1. Good leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the business and the customer supply base.
2. Evidence of managing and leveraging maximum support from the wider team to achieve objectives.
3. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and can demonstrate effective problem management.
4. A high level of drive, self-motivation and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
5. Estates, Facilities & Site Service experience is desirable.
