We are seeking a driven, hardworking, and committed Spanish Teacher to join a brilliant school on the outskirts of Peterborough. This long-term role offers the potential for a permanent position and provides a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in KS3 and KS4.
As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in their language development. You will work closely with the school’s dedicated team to ensure that all students achieve their full potential.
Responsabilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
2. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
4. Prepare and mark assignments, projects, and exams.
5. Encourage and develop students’ language skills and cultural awareness.
6. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
8. Implement effective classroom management strategies.
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
10. Proven experience teaching Spanish at the secondary school level.
11. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
14. Driven, hardworking, and committed to student success.
15. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
16. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
