IT Support Technician - Stoke-on-Trent - £28,000
We are hiring for an IT Support Engineer to join our clients team! You will be dealing with 1st and 2nd line support issues, managing customer support requests, and handling onsite visits.
Responsibilities include monitoring system alerts, managing support tickets, and troubleshooting technical issues. You’ll also promote service upgrades when relevant and ensure timely resolution of customer queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to the Technical Director
* Provide phone and onsite support
* Manage and update support tickets
* Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues
* Set up and configure new systems
* Maintain customer equipment and provide technical advice
* Promote service contracts and system upgrades
* Complete general administrative tasks
Technical Requirements:
* Experience with PC troubleshooting, Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Windows 10/11
* Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN)
* Familiarity with VoIP, Wi-Fi systems, and broadband technologies
* 1+ year in an IT support role
