Commercial Executive (Europe & Nordic GTR)
Location: Airdrie - Hybrid (with travel required across Europe and beyond)
Full-time, 34-hour working week, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Executive to drive sales, elevate brand awareness, and execute retail strategies across key travel retail locations in Europe and the Nordic region for our client. This exciting opportunity requires a passion for the wine and spirits industry, a keen understanding of the travel retail landscape, and strong relationship-building skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with global retailers, distributors, and internal teams to develop and implement effective sales programmes. This role provides the chance to have a significant impact on sales growth and brand presence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Travel is required, both within the UK and internationally. Overnight stays will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and revenue in designated travel retail locations, such as airports, cruise ships, border stores, and other duty-free outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key travel retail partners, including airport retail managers, duty-free operators, and distributors.
Regularly visit key accounts to ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards are upheld.
Collaborate with the Channel Marketing team to manage trade marketing budgets, including TD&C, promotions, activations, etc. for designated accounts.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends in travel retail to identify opportunities and potential threats.
Work closely with Channel Marketing and Brand teams to develop bespoke campaigns and promotional strategies for the travel retail sector.

Professional Requirements
A degree in a business-related field is preferred. An HND/HNC or equivalent qualification will also be considered.
Proven experience in the travel retail sector, preferably with premium product brand management.
A full, clean driving licence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
