About Our Client
My client has a nationwide presence with one of their larger offices located in Solihull.
Job Description
* Preparation of the statutory accounts
* Liaising with the auditors
* Driving the year end
* Creation of the financial statements
* Consolidation of the group accounts
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
* Perform financial analysis and forecasting
* Assist with audits and taxes
* Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
* Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives
* Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
* Qualified accountant
* Strong technical finance skills
* Previous consolidation experience and exposure to FRS 101 and 102
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Advanced understanding of financial principles and regulations
