About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Reliability Engineering team at Amazon. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment within the site.
2. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
3. Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
4. Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
5. Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
Requirements
• Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
• Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
• Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds Level 3, SVQ/IVQ).
