Job Title: Airline Customer Services Clerk
Location: Warton, Lancashire.
Salary: £24,000 plus 11.5% shift allowance (hours for this position will be 06:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Friday)
What you'll be doing:
* Stay informed about flight details, schedules, passenger numbers, and any special requirements, such as passengers with reduced mobility
* Welcome passengers and provide clear information on safety and security procedures
* Issue and complete essential documentation, including passenger manifests, boarding passes, and flight preparation reports
* Communicate any changes to flight schedules to all passengers promptly and effectively
* Weigh and label all hold luggage, accurately recording the information for the flight load report
* Support Business Continuity Management activities within the department
* Willingness to work weekends and irregular shifts and travel on occasions
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Customer service experience within a similar environment
* Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and UK EASA Dangerous Goods regulations, safety standards, and operational procedures
* Experience using passenger handling systems
* Aware of airline check-in processes and procedures
Desirable:
* NVQ in Customer Service or Aviation.
