Job Description
1. Develop and implement planning policies and procedures for construction projects.
2. Lead and manage a team of planning officers.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure planning processes are streamlined.
4. Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
5. Ensure all planning policies comply with local and national legislation.
6. Review and assess planning applications and make recommendations.
7. Report on project progress and outcomes to senior management.
8. Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Principal Planning Policy Officer should have:
1. A degree in Planning, Construction, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in planning and project management within the public sector.
3. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
4. A deep understanding of planning legislation and policy.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
