About the role Reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager, this role encompasses the provision of specialist compliance and risk management advice to Royal Mail Group Limited. You will develop implement, monitor, and support continuous improvement of Royal Mails compliance framework. Our compliance framework objective is to support the business in achieving its corporate strategy in a way that is consistent with Royal Mail Group values, legal regulatory obligations. Responsible for providing compliance advice to the business on compliance matters in relation to a set of core compliance risks, including anti-bribery and corruption legislation, competition law, international sanctions, postal regulation, modern slavery and as well as other existing and future corporate offences. As Compliance Manager you will remedying compliance incidents reported to the team, develop, and embed a culture of compliance and ethics across RMG, supporting the compliance team’s ongoing risk assessment framework in a pragmatic and risk-based fashion and liaising with and supporting the team’s network of compliance and ethics coordinators and champions. About You To truly excel in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, qualifications and experience listed below: Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience. Experience in the field of compliance, with a mixture of professional risk-advisory/management, strategy, and practical implementation experience. Solid experience of communicating with and influencing senior level staff. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to multiple stakeholders using a clear, concise, and accurate communication style in a range of different formats. Ability to confidently analyse and interpret complex data and the ability communicate complex compliance ideas and concepts in a simple, effective, and compelling way. Proven experience of rigorous analysis of complex issues and independent delivery of pragmatic and risk-based solutions. Solid awareness of current compliance trends and best practice.
