We seek an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative Cyber Security Manager to lead our Cyber Security team.
As a dedicated and skilled specialist, you will lead the team in supporting and safeguarding Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service's (HIWFRS) ICT infrastructure against cyber threats. You will be responsible for overseeing the cyber security processes, tools, applications, and platforms utilized across the service.
You will have experience in a similar role and have a good knowledge of ICT cyber security systems such as Microsoft Office, Windows operating system security, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Office 365 administration and Azure, and familiar with ISO security standards.
You will provide specialist advice and engage with users, ICT peers, suppliers, and partners. Effective communication and relationship-building skills, proven leadership, and commercial acumen are essential.
This role involves leading, motivating, and developing the Cyber Security Team to achieve effective positive outcomes and exploring innovative approaches to enhance departmental efficiency. The position demands a professional attitude, strong engagement skills at all levels, and the ability to work proactively to anticipate the needs of the Service.
