Currently we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified Consultant Psychologist in neurorehabilitation to join our client and help change the lives of people living with acquired brain injury (ABI).
We are looking for a Consultant Psychologist who wants to develop their experience by working in our highly regarded service, providing strategic, professional leadership to the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team.
Salary: Up to £71,900 DOE + £6000 welcome bonus!
Position: Consultant Clinical Psychologist
Hours: Part Time – 28hrs
Setting: Neuro – Acquired Brain Injury
Location: Birmingham
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing strategic professional and clinical leadership to the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust through the Clinical Executive.
* Ensuring the planning and development of a systematic response to service needs, interpreting professional policies, and ensuring that the service operates at the highest level of quality and current best practice.
* Providing clinical services at a high level of expertise, supporting and advising colleagues on neuropsychological clinical practice.
* Providing clinical leadership and direction for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust service across the relevant region.
For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
* Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
* Ability to comprehend and communicate highly complex and sensitive information to a range of settings and audiences.
* Ability to analyze and manage complex multi-factorial information from both clinical and organizational sources.
* Sound skills in the management of specialist professional staff and clinical services.
* Knowledge of legislation and its implications for clinical practice and professional management.
* Experience of working as a consultant or extensive experience working as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in a relevant setting.
